Dr Maria Bonnici is a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with a particular interest in osteoporosis, falls and healthy ageing.
She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Sciences with Ageing from Newcastle University, which she completed with distinction, and obtained the UK Specialty Certificate in Geriatric Medicine in 2019. She also completed a senior clinical fellowship in orthogeriatric care and fragility fracture prevention at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
At the Professional Services Centre, Dr Bonnici provides comprehensive geriatric and cognitive assessments, together with specialist evaluation and management of osteoporosis and falls risk, helping older adults maintain their health, mobility and independence.
