Dr Edith Vassallo is a Specialist Radiologist with extensive experience in diagnostic imaging, working within the Medical Imaging Department at Mater Dei Hospital.

She holds M.D. (Melit.), M.R.C.S. (Edin.) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (F.R.C.R., UK), together with European qualifications in radiology and head and neck radiology (EDiR, EBDiHNR). She is also a Visiting Lecturer in Clinical Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Malta, teaching neuroradiology and imaging of the head and neck.

Dr Vassallo is actively involved in medical education and research, with published work addressing thyroid, head and neck and other areas of diagnostic imaging, including European practice recommendations for thyroid imaging. At Professional Services Centre, she provides carefully performed ultrasound examinations, combining specialist imaging expertise with a clear and reassuring approach to patient care.
